There is a small island in the Philippines that most of the world is still figuring out.

No famous white beaches. No party scene. No international chains. What Siquijor has is harder to describe — and harder to forget. The roads are unhurried. The water is impossibly clear. The people greet strangers like old friends. Somewhere between the fireflies at dusk and the sound of the waves at night, something in you slows down in a way it hasn't in years.

We know this because Siquijor is not just a destination to us. It is home.

The Problem We Kept Seeing

For years, we watched travelers arrive on Siquijor — excited, curious, full of questions — and struggle to find reliable answers.

Where should I stay? Which restaurants are actually good? How do I get around? Is this tour guide trustworthy?

The answers existed. But they were scattered across outdated blogs, Facebook comment threads, and word of mouth at the port. Meanwhile, the island's small businesses — family-run guesthouses, local restaurants, scooter rental shops, tour guides who know every hidden waterfall — had no single place to be found.

The big booking platforms exist. But they weren't built for Siquijor. They were built for everywhere — which means they serve no place particularly well.

We kept asking: why isn't there something built specifically for this island? Eventually, we stopped asking and started building.

What OneSiquijor Is

OneSiquijor is Siquijor's first complete local directory — built by people who love the island, for travelers who want to experience it the right way.

Every vendor is personally verified. Every listing reflects what actually exists on the island today. We update our information because we live and breathe Siquijor — not because an algorithm told us to.

Why Now

Siquijor welcomed 273,000 visitors in 2025 — earning the title of fastest-growing travel destination in the Philippines. The island's first commercial flight landed in December 2025. Nearly 500 new hotel rooms are planned.

Siquijor is being discovered. We believe it can grow the right way — by connecting travelers with verified local businesses, keeping money in the island community, and giving visitors the honest information they need to have a trip worth remembering.

> Ang hindi marunong lumingon sa pinanggalingan ay hindi makararating sa paroroonan. Those who do not look back at where they came from will not reach their destination.

OneSiquijor is our way of looking back — and forward — at the same time.

Welcome. One island. One platform. Built with love.
